Russia Has Gun Laws That American Gun Control Advocates Can Only Dream Of – And They Are Doing Nothing To Stop School Shootings
Russian gun laws are very strict:
1) Gun ownership requires a federal license
2) A mental health clearance is required prior to licensing
3) Both classes and a test are required
4) A reason must be given for ownership
5) For the first 5 years, licensees are limited to shotguns and air rifles.
6) There is a 10 round magazine limit
7) Handguns may be purchased but must be stored at a gun club
There is more, but you get the idea….. guns are highly restricted in Russia.
Yet in recent years Russia has experienced an “outbreak” of school shootings. A few examples:
Crimea Attack Teen ‘Dreamed’ of Giving Russia Its Own Columbine Massacre. An 18-year-old said to be obsessed with the Colorado school gunmen tossed IEDs and shot up his school, which had little to no security.
An American-style School Shooting In Moscow - A school shooting in north Moscow had politicians quickly blaming American culture as a corrupting influence on Russian youth.
Columbine-Inspired Shootings Surge Among Young Russians. Russian teens have taken up a decades-old American horror story and begun to attempt mass shootings at an increasingly alarming rate over the last three years.
Putin Orders New Gun Laws After School Shooting Kills 9
Russia’s gun laws far exceed anything possible under the 2nd Amendment – and yet the shootings continue. Remember that the next time you are told that this or that new gun law will end the problem of mass shootings…...
